To bring out the creative expression of the students and also to gauge their awareness quotient, DPS Pataudi hosted a Poster Making Competition for classes I-V. Our talented disputes unleashed their creativity and showcased their artistic skills. The theme of the competition was “Seasons” and “Pollution”. It was a great opportunity to watch these young minds create and display their ideas on paper. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activity.

In an endeavour to inculcate the need to hydrate and replenish our body with some cool beverages to “ Beat The Heat ” of summers, DPS Pataudi organised a ‘Lemonade Making Activity’ for the students of class Nursery to V on Thursday 27 Apr 2023. The tinytots had a great time preparing the lemonade by squeezing the lemon, sprinkling the sugar and salt, some mint leaves for an exotic flavour and stirring the mixture with their tiny fingers. It was a fun learning experience for our little Dipsites which was cherished by all of them.

Building a Strong Foundation for India's Future: Class XI Humanities students engaged in a thought-provoking activity that explored the intricacies of the Constitution of India. Through a hands-on model-making activity, the students were able to gain a deeper understanding of the guiding principles that shape the governance of our country. This model-making activity was a valuable learning experience for the students.

Students of Class VIl visited "Rain Harvesting Plant. The plant has a capacity of treating 100 MLD of Rain water. It was an informative and knowledgeable experience for the students

We always strive to cater to the all-round development of our students. The main focus of the school has always been on improving soft skills among the students. With this intention in mind, an Extempore activity was held for the students of Class VIll. The objective of this activity was to make the students more confident and better orators so that they could fearlessly express their views on any topic. Extempore is an excellent way to assist the students not only in spontaneous thinking but also in asserting their creative ideas with precision. The participants delivered their speeches with great confidence and left no stone unturned to give their best on the topics they got.

Students created skeleton on a black cardboard using cotton swabs, straws and sticks. The students had fun during this activity while they learned about the various functions of skeletal system. They could identify muscles, joints and different type of bones.

The Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasion when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed school cabinet. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly office bearers. Our guest of honour Mr Rahul Guliya motivated the students and guided the student council members to be the role models. Vice Principal advised the students to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow. Mr Rahul, sports HOD administered the oath to the newly constituted student council members. Mr Lalit Kumar, event coordinator proposed the vote of thanks and congratulated the students and thanked the parents for guiding them on the right path.

दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल पटौदी के प्रांगण में ' ग्रेंड पेरेंट्स ' के प्रति आभार एवम् कृतज्ञता प्रकट करने के लिए' ग्रेंड पेरेंट्स डे ' का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में सभी दादा- दादी को उनके नन्हें -नन्हें बच्चों के साथ एक आमंत्रण के तहत आमंत्रित किया गया । यह एक स्वार्थरहित एवं अपार प्रेम को एक- दूसरे के प्रति प्रदर्शित करने का सुनहरा उत्सव था ।उत्सव की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलित कर श्रीगणेश वंदना के साथ हुई । उप प्रधानाचार्या आदरणीया श्रीमती नीना सोनी ने आए हुए सभी गणमान्य लोगों का तहेदिल से आभार प्रकट किया । श्रीगणेश वंदना के उपरांत सभी के सम्मान में विशेष तौर पर एक स्वागत गीत गाया गया । नर्सरी से कक्षा दूूसरी के विद्यार्थियों के द्वारा अपने दादा-दादी के प्रति अपना प्रेम एवं आदर प्रकट करते हुए मनमोहक आवाज़ में गीत पेश किए ।इसके अलावा बच्चों ने अपने कदम ताल को एक लय में मिलाते हुए बहुत ही सुंदर नृत्य प्रस्तुुत किया । सभी ने भी बच्चों के साथ कदमताल मिलाते हुए नृत्य कर कार्यक्रम की शोभा में चार चाँद लगा दिए । उनके इस कार्यक्रम में आने का उद्देश्य चरितार्थ होते हुए देख कर विद्यालय के सभी लोगों में खुशी एवम् संतुष्टि का माहौल था। उनके बीच के अथाह एवं निस्वार्थ प्रेम की झलक साफ़ दिखाई दे रही थी । कार्यक्रम के इस अवसर पर सभी बच्चों को उनके दादा- दादी के सम्मान ,प्यार,आदर एवं प्रेम को ओर गहरा एवं अधिक मज़बूत बनाने की प्रतिज्ञा दिलाई गई। कार्यक्रम का समापन आदरणीया प्री- प्राईमरी कॉर्डिनेटर डॉली अधिकारी के द्वारा अपने धन्यवाद भाषण से किया गया।

दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल, पटौदी के प्रांगण में प्राथमिक स्तर के विद्यार्थियों ने जन्माष्टमी के पावन पर्व पर एक विशेष प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया। प्रार्थना सभा की संचालिका श्रीमती रंजना पठानिया ने सभा का आरंभ श्रीकृष्ण के सुविचार और उपदेशों से किया। कक्षा दूसरी के विद्यार्थियों ने भजन और नृत्य पेश कर श्री कृष्ण के बाल रूप को दर्शाया तथा नाटक मंचन के द्वारा अहंकार मुक्त जीवन जीने के लिए प्रेरित किया l कक्षा नर्सरी से तीसरी के विद्यार्थियों ने कृष्ण- राधा के रूप में सज कर सब का मन मोह लिया । इसी बीच कक्षा पांचवीं के बच्चों ने श्रीकृष्ण के जन्म से लेकर गीता उपदेश तक विभिन्न स्वरुपों को प्रस्तुत कर चारों ओर कृष्णमय माहौल बना दिया ।कार्यक्रम के समापन में उप प्रधानाचार्या नीना सोनी जी ने बच्चों की प्रस्तुतियों की सराहना की और श्री कृष्ण के उपदेश से जीवन में हर परिस्तिथि का सामना करने के लिए तैयार रहना चाहिए । अंत में सभी को जन्माष्टमी की बधाई देते हुए शुभकामनाएँ दी।

आजादी के 75 वर्ष पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में मनाए जा रहे "अमृत महोत्सव" में दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल पटौदी का प्रांगण छात्रों की सांस्कृतिक और देश की एकता व अखंडता का संदेश देते कार्यक्रम से देशभक्ति के रंग से सराबोर हो गया l कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति के सदस्य श्रीमान रमेश गुलिया जी ने ध्वजारोहण कर किया l इसके बाद विद्यालय के चारों सदन के छात्रों ने मार्चपास्ट कर ध्वज को सलामी दी l इस अवसर पर अनेक सांस्कृतिक और देशभक्ति कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें विद्यालय के नन्हें नन्हें बच्चों ने रानी लक्ष्मीबाई, भगत सिंह और सुभाष चंद्र बोस का अभिनय कर देशभक्ति गीतों पर नृत्य किया l कक्षा नौवीं के विद्यार्थियों ने "तेरी मिट्टी में मिल जावा" इस देशभक्ति गीत पर नृत्य कर सभी को झूमने पर मजबूर कर दिया l कार्यक्रम के अंत में विद्यालय की उपप्रधानाचार्यऻ श्रीमती नीना सोनी ने कार्यक्रम में आए हुए सभी अभिभावकों का आभार व्यक्त किया और बताया कि सरकार द्वारा "हर घर तिरंगा" अभियान चलाया जा रहा है जिसमें हम सभी की सहभागिता होनी चाहिए l

Rakhi is not merely a silken thread but a tradition that binds brother and sister beautifully in a relationship forever. Rakshabandhan, a much awaited Indian traditional festival of sisterly and brotherly respect was celebrated by the students of grade 1 to 5 in Delhi Public School, Pataudi on 10th August 2022. To make this day memorable, Rakhi making competition for the students was held. They all decorated their Rakhi with their creative skills using beads, woollen threads, small mirrors, etc. Best three rakhis were selected from each class by the Vice Principal Ms. Nina Soni. She appreciated the creative work of the students.

True Independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right. Independence Day motivates us to bond with each other irrespective of which religion, cast, creed, community or culture we belong to. To mark the importance of this day, the students of grade IV and XII of DPS Pataudi conducted a special assembly on the 75th Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students portrait the end of the British Rule through a role play and dance performance. They also explained the significance of our tricolour flag, about the freedom fighters and how India became free on 15th August 1947. Apart from role play various cultural activities were performed by the students of grade IV. Grade XII teachers interacted with the students and express their view on the word Freedom and enlighten students to become good citizen. The Vice Principal Ms. Nina Soni addressed and appreciated the performance of the students with her motivational words. The celebration came to an end with the National Anthem, which amazed the minds and warmed the hearts of the students and teachers.

दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल पटौदी के प्रांगण में 'तीज' के त्योहार के महत्त्व को दर्शाते हुए अनेक गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें कक्षा नर्सरी से छठीं तक के विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया। जिसमें छात्राओं ने हाथों में महावर लगाया और झूला झूलकर इस त्योहार का आनंद लिया तथा नन्हे छात्रों ने पतंग बाजी का लुत्फ़ उठाया।

Students of class 6, 7, 8 and 11th (Humanities) visited a historical monument Qutub Minar on Friday dated 28.07.2022 a UNESCO World heritage site that is deemed the tallest of its kind in India. The excursion was an investigation of the culture, belief and globalisation during the time when Qutub Minar was built (1199-1220). They learned how two culture (South Asia and Islamic) can merge together into such a monumental piece of architecture. It was a great learning experience for the students.

It is important to stay emotionally fit & strong. To manage difficult emotional situations with ease we need to be emotionally strong and it is necessary to be physically fit too. To inculcate this idea among students and teachers, a two-day online yoga and fitness session was organized on 19-20 June 2022 .

दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल पटौदी के प्रांगण में ' विश्व पृथ्वी दिवस ' के शुभ अवसर पर विशेष सभा का आयोजन किया गया । जिसमें कक्षा नर्सरी से बारहवीं तक के विद्यार्थियों ने पृथ्वी दिवस के महत्त्व को जाना और कक्षा चौथी की छात्राओं ने वृक्षों के महत्त्व को बताते हुए मनोरम नृत्य प्रस्तुत कर पृथ्वी के संरक्षण और पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखने का संदेश दिया ।सभा के समापन में विद्यालय की उप प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती नीना सोनी जी ने सभी विद्यार्थियों को पृथ्वी को स्वच्छ और सुरक्षित रखने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इस अवसर पर सभी विद्यार्थियों ने लगभग 3500 पौधों का रोपण करते हुए पृथ्वी को हरा-भरा रखने का प्रण भी लिया |

An Individual career counselling session was organised for the Parents and Students of Std-IX to XI on 28/02/22 wherein the career counsellors explained about the aptitude of the child and also broadened the parents' perspective about the career opportunities for their child The sessions were very informative and enlightening.

"Scholar Badge Ceremony" program was organized for the students of class VI to XI in the premises of Delhi Public School, Pataudi on 26th February’22 .The chief guest for the ceremony was Mr Rahul Gulia , member school management committee. On this occasion, the students first greeted all the parents who came to the program with a welcome song followed by Saraswati Vandana . Chief Guest ,Mr. Rahul Gulia and the Principal, Ms Dipinder Kaur and gave the certificates and trophies to the scholars . Scholarships were also announced for the students who had excelled in the Board Exams . Ishika and Muskan were honoured with certificates of appreciation given by CBSE for their high percentile in Eng subject. At the end of the program, the headmistress of the school, Mrs. Nina Soni, proposed the vote of thanks and wished the students a bright future.

The school counsellor Ms.Pratibha Sharma conducted a counselling session for the Parents of Std III-V on 25th January via virtual zoom mode.The motive of the session was to make the parents adopt the right style of parenting. In the session, they shared that parenting is the most difficult task ever. The session gave them various insights of different styles of parenting and the pros and cons of each styles in which the Counsellor focused on the "Mindful Parenting" . In the interaction that followed she made the parents aware about their responses, reactions and involvement affecting the child development. The parents found the Session very beneficial.

Delhi Public School,Pataudi organised a special virtual assembly on the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day on 26th January 2022. The event began by honouring the Chief Guest ,(Retd)Colonel Ranbir Singh Kang, VrC. followed by the lighting of the lamp and unfurling of the National Flag virtually.The Hon. Chief Guest (Retd.) Col. Ranbir Singh Kang, VrC then delivered a speech reminding the youth about the role they play in the development of the country.  He said that this life is bestowed on us once and we must make the best of it. When we look back on our life it must be enviable. He urged the students to choose a vocation as per their aptitude and compatibility with their ability. Whatever one chooses, one must endeavour to excel and aim at leaving a mark as an achiever. The students absorbed his words with panache. At the end the Principal thanked him and advised the students to show- integrity, perseverance,courage and passion to become responsible citizens.

The school counsellor Ms. Pratibha Sharma conducted a virtual session with the girls of classes 6-8 on the topic ‘ Topping with the Teens’ on 9th January, 2022.Various things talked about were ; growing body and mind,personal hygiene, safety and security , interpersonal relationships and so on . The session ended on a positive note and the girls felt confident and empowered.

Class 2 A students made Ravana utilizing the old newspapers cause we at DPS Pataudi teach students to exploit waste materials into something creative.

Veer gatha project is a way to honour and remember the Gallantry Award winners. It was launched on the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav.As a part of the veer gatha project,Muskan Dhankar of Delhi Public School, Pataudi expressed the bravery of our heroes who have sacrificed for the nation in many ways through this painting..

Class 2 -B conducted the assembly on the occasion of Gurpurab the class teacher of 2B informed the students about the importance of Gurpurab and educated the students about the teachings of Gurunanak Devji.

Jawaharlal Nehru was very fond of kids and was lovingly called as “Chacha Nehru” by kids. In addition to being a children’s lovable “Nehru Chacha”, he was also a great leader and writer. His personality is marked by clarity of thoughts and simplicity of style. Nehru had his own style of dressing and was always seen wearing a special kind of cap called as “Nehru cap/ topi” after his name. On the occasion of Children's day Class Prep students made Nehru caps to mark the celebration.

Kunal & Prayash from Class XII bagged the second position in the Inter School Video making Competition organised by DPS Rewari.The topic was - Gaming.

On the occasion of Haryana Diwas students showcased the importance of Cultural Diversity and the special features about our paired state ‘Telangana’.

A career counselling session on Hospitality was organised for the students of XI and XII on 26/10/21 wherein the representative from IIHM,Delhi explained through a beautiful PowerPoint Presentation about Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Cruise Liners,Tourism and Event management and how one could pursue careers in these after successfully completing the courses. The session was very informative and enlightening.

As an initiative taken up by CBSE under the Rashtriya Poshan Maah circular no. ACAD-86/2021, DPS Pataudi students gave nutritious food to the underprivileged.

It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well-being.” This year 6th Yoga International was celebrated by the students and teachers at DPS,Pataudi with great passion and excitement . The school observed International Yoga week with enthusiasm on the theme ‘Yoga at Home, Yoga with Family The PT teachers shared a quiz with the students of classes 1st to 12th, wherein the yoga teacher asked questions based on asanas and pranayam and the importance of yoga in life. Yoga sessions for parents, teachers and students were conducted virtually for 15 days. Students and parents also participated and enjoyed the sessions. Warm-up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asanas, the importance of these were explained simultaneously. On the final day of International Yoga Day Principal, Ms Dipinder Kaur In her address said physical fitness should always be a priority for all and yoga is the best way to keep oneself physically and mentally strong especially in the present challenging situation. Regular practice of yoga will surely help our students achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.

““A webinar was conducted by Ms. Gurleen Bindra, the school counsellor for the parents of Nursery to class 2 on the topic'Handling Character and Personality Traits‘on 18.6.2021. During this webinar, she spoke to the parents about how to handle temper and tantrums. She spoke about the common concerns of the parents and how to understand and how to deal with such tantrums. She also focused on the causes of tantrums and what a parent needs to do while the child shows such a behaviour. It was an interactive session. Parents looked happy as they got solutions to many of their problems.

““Delhi Public School Pataudi commenced with the 15 days Yoga Training Program on 5th June .The School Physical Education Teacher Mr. Amit started sensitizing students of all age groups about the benefits of Yoga. The first session began with the awareness of the basics of yoga. It was shared with the students how one can achieve a higher level of concentration through yoga and that it strengthens the body, both physically and mentally.

““Ishika from class 12 participated in a virtual Group Discussion for Students on 20th April 2021 on the topic. How to End Name-Calling in Classrooms? This was organized by Entab Campus care. Students from few selected schools from pan India were shortlisted for this group discussion. It was a very interactive and informative discussion which brought out the fears, anxieties and methods to cope up with the issue of ‘name calling’ amongst students.

““Earth Day at DPS Pataudi couldn't get any more colourful and stylish with this face paint by our students. In the spirit of celebrating their feelings and honouring the planet, the face paint with shades of Earth expresses their love towards our Mother Nature. Additionally students also wrote ‘The Green Pledge’ to save our Planet Earth!

““DPS Pataudi completed 4 glorious years on 17th April' 21. To mark the celebration a special assembly by the students of class 12( Humanities & Commerce stream )was conducted . The assembly began with a prayer asking for His divine blessings in all fields. Few students shared the journey of the school since its inception. The Principal in her address to the students told them that they are all lucky that they are being educated in a school as great as ours. Two of the founder teachers , Mr. Naveen Kumar & Mr. Sailesh too shared their experiences with all the students and the staff members . The Principal, Ms.Dipinder Kaur expressed her pride in the success of the school achieved in these 4 years in both scholastic and co-Scholastic fields. She blessed them for the future and said that the school is their second home and they have to be responsible in all that they do. The Principal wished the students and staff to grow from strength to strength and make DPS Pataudi a school to reckon with. .

““In keeping with our tradition of celebrating all festivals with fervour, joy and gaiety, the children of class VI B organised a special assemblyon Tuesday, 13 April 2021 on Baisakhi. The assembly commenced with theGayatri mantra. Followed by a poem focussing on the abundance of Mother Earth. Baisakhi is a festival that marks the beginning of a new season. It is also a time to reap crops and therefore, an occasion for celebration. The children came forward inturns to speak about this important festival. The children also spoke about the satraarambh “starting of the new session”. A lively Punjabi folk dance choreographed by Paramita Sinha thedance teacher was also presented by the students. It was a treat to see the children performing, dressed in traditional vibrant Punjabi attire. The assembly was concluded by Principal, Ms Dipinder Kaur , she explained why the occasion is consideredto be auspicious and why it is such a widely observed festival throughout north-west India .She also gave prominence to the importance of online studies and their impact on learning. The success of the assembly as a result of commendable teamworkby both the students and teachers. The motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the children of their culture and heritage The celebration of this festival marked the beginning of festivities at our school.
