At Delhi Public School, Pataudi, we believe that true learning happens when children explore, experience, and apply knowledge in real-life situations. Keeping this vision alive, our school recently organized a vibrant and interactive event – the Funky Fruit & Veggie Bazaar. 🌟🍉🥕
The campus transformed into a lively marketplace where students from Nursery to Grade V stepped into the roles of little shoppers and sellers. With baskets in hand, they explored the colors, textures, and names of different fruits and vegetables, while also engaging in smart conversations and transactions. 🛒✨
This unique activity was designed to go beyond books and classrooms, helping students learn through play and practice. The young learners not only identified fruits and veggies but also discovered their health benefits. Older students took it a step further by practicing money handling, bargaining, measurement, and basic calculations, turning the bazaar into a perfect blend of fun, mathematics, and life skills. 💡➕➖✖️➗
The Funky Fruit & Veggie Bazaar wasn’t just about buying and selling – it was about building confidence, communication, teamwork, and decision-making. It taught children the value of healthy food choices and how classroom knowledge can be applied in daily life. 🌈📚
